Methemoglobinemia

- Give oxygen + assess symptoms/methemoglobin level
- Methylene blue is standard antidote for significant cases
- Avoid/caution in G6PD deficiency
- Ascorbic acid is slower alternative in selected cases
- Severe refractory cases may need exchange/transfusion
