P2Y12 platelet receptor antagonist

Clopidogrel active metabolite — Reactive thiol metabolite that irreversibly blocks platelet P2Y12 receptors; its formation depends partly on CYP2C19.
Prasugrel — Potent P2Y12 antiplatelet; more effective but more bleeding than clopidogrel.
Ticagrelor — Reversible P2Y12 antiplatelet; twice-daily, causes dyspnea.
Ticlopidine — First-generation P2Y12 antiplatelet; neutropenia limited its use.
