What limits it Hepatotoxicity means baseline liver tests. It is a strong CYP2D6 inhibitor, which matters for metoprolol and tricyclics; taste loss can be permanent.

Instructions Evaluate for chronic/active liver disease and obtain baseline serum transaminases before starting; monitor LFTs periodically Take one 250 mg tablet once daily Discontinue if liver injury, taste/smell disturbance, or drug reaction develops
Contraindications Chronic or active liver disease History of allergic reaction to oral terbinafine (risk of anaphylaxis)
