Ballicules › Drugs › Silodosin
Pronunciation: sye-lo-DOE-sin
Mechanism of action: Silodosin ballicule
What it is Highly alpha-1A-selective antagonist; benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Why this one Its exceptional uroselectivity relieves outlet symptoms with less blood-pressure effect than nonselective alpha blockers.
What limits it Ejaculatory dysfunction commonly ends treatment; renal impairment requires adjustment, and cataract surgery risks floppy iris.
Molecular structure: Silodosin
