Adverse reactions

Pregnancy No established drug-associated risk of major birth defects; third-trimester exposure risks extrapyramidal and/or withdrawal symptoms in neonates.

Lactation Paliperidone present in breast milk; monitor infant for sedation, failure to thrive, jitteriness, and extrapyramidal symptoms.
