BARHEMSYS

What it isThe only US-approved amisulpride: an IV antiemetic (BARHEMSYS, 2020), not an antipsychotic dose — 5 mg at induction prevents PONV, 10 mg after surgery treats it, infused over 1-2 minutes.
Why this oneA D2/D3 antagonist acting at the chemoreceptor trigger zone and area postrema; little sedation at these doses.
