- FcRn normally recycles IgG back into circulation
- IgG — including pathogenic autoantibodies — is cleared faster
- Used in myasthenia gravis
- Lowers protective IgG too → infection monitoring

- Efgartigimod — FcRn antagonist that clears pathogenic IgG in generalized myasthenia gravis; benefit is cyclical.
