Angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI)
- Sacubitril/valsartan = ARNI
- Preferred RAAS-pathway drug for many HFrEF pts
- ↓ HF hospitalization + CV death
- Also lowers BP
- Hyperkalemia, renal dysfunction, hypotension
- Angioedema risk; never combine with ACEi
- allow 36 h after ACE inhibitor
